After a career spanning over sixty years, Taj Mahal certainly knows what he's doing. There's no need to reinvent the wheel. That's not how the blues works. You can, however, invite a different friend onto your porch every now and then. Room on the Porch is the 83-year-old's second full-length collaboration with Keb' Mo', ten years younger . It all sounds as relaxed as the title and cover suggest. The occasional Hammond organ, a bit of scatting. Pure love for the genre.
