Hoewel het in 1975 niet bij alle Pink Floyd-fans even goed viel, heeft Wish You Were Here inmiddels nauwelijks een herwaardering nodig. Dat dit epos nu vijftig jaar bestaat mag hoe dan ook gevierd worden. De bijbehorende boxset doet dat onder meer met een magnifieke blu-ray, waarop live-concerten en bootleg-opnames ('restored and remastered' door Steven Wilson!) zijn verzameld.
